Omegas Deception Omegas of Pandora #1

summary Omegas Deception Omegas of Pandora #1

Deception is the first in a brand new series featuring an over the top Alpha hero in a dystopian world This book is for anyone who likes their romance with power exchange and a splash of darkness especially fans of Addison Cain Zoe Blake and Loki Rena. I'm growing really fond of the omegaverse stories I was looking for something to read after reading an Addison Cain book I enjoyed this story It had a few similarities to other books I've read but it had some uniue things too I was so caught up in the story I finished it under two hours I really like Ianthe she isn't the normal Omega I love a strong heroine and she definitely is a strong little Omega

4 StarsI started to dabble in this “Omega” world After reading Addison Cain books I took a shot with this one This world is the same but tamer and less steamy Don’t worry there’s still smut and steam but I would say it has world buildingIanthe is an Omega but she’s in hiding She’s working to put food on the table for her sister and get medicine for her younger brother But if she sells her body for one night she can have enough food and meds for a year Of course the girl does it I liked that Ianthe has to hide herself and of course the Alpha that seeks a night with her doesn’t have sex with Betas but there’s nothing wrong with playing with them?I liked the pace of the book and the story I was presented It was an easy read and it hit all the right spots I’m glad to be sucked into a new series

While the general population feels that King Rolan rules Pandora it's the Alpha's especially Legion who wield the real power Legion's role is extreme as he owns the filtering systems that circulates the unpolluted air throughout the Astropolis Without him pollution and contaminated air would kill off everyone Ianthe ban Sarrin is living a lie As an undocumented Omega she runs the daily risk of being discovered and arrested for dynamic concealment A crime punishable by confinement in a work camp being given to any Alpha willing to pay or death Posing as a Beta using chemical inhibitors she's able to fool everyone When a chance to earn an extreme amount of credits for a single night of service at the Eros House is offered Ianthe is forced to accept as her family needs than she can earn to be able to survive and afford the costly chemical inhibitors necessary to continue her deception Eros House A place where the elite of Alphas can purchase the fantasy experience of being with an Omega though the stable of females are all Betas Driven to the physical needs of his body Legion ventures to Eros House to procure a female to sate his carnal needs for a temporary form of relief until he finds his own Omega Warning This is a dark fantasy Omegaverse Dytopian tale that does include abuse dubnon con scenes that might stretch comfort zones and graphic sex This sort of story is intended for fans who appreciate this form of literature Consider yourself warnedWarning This is a first in serial dark fantasy erotic romance series which means the story is incomplete with many unanswered uestions left hanging that ends with a major cliffhanger Cost breakdown on Omega's Deception 131 pages299Omega's Capture 145 pages399Omega's Binding 137 pages399no further installments in series available or published but probableDiscovered this highly addictive typical of a serial story by chance and was really enjoying the perverted dark themed story when it ended in a cliffie Not uite a plateau or 'to be continued' sort of thing Nope Boom Wish I had known that prior as I probably wouldn't have grabbed it untilunless a box set had been available Oh well The actual story Legion The antihero's antihero in a Dystopian world Legion wouldn't have come across believable if the author featured him as a morally upstanding good guy persona character To survive one had to be feared bad ass cut throat and an apex predator which Legion certainly was Ianthe A young naive female who wasn't a predator at all She was a simple girl responsible for her two siblings who had to use deception to escape the attention of the hierarchy who would separate her from her family and give her to an Alpha is it was known she was an Omega Her family was all she had so she was willing to do what it took which eventually led to her downfall Having read all three available installments I know where the story goes but this review is only for this one The story culminates in a non dub con scene that is the basis for the cliffhanger A good move on the point of the author as I just had to know what happened next so for any potential reader who grabs this book might as well download the next one too as I'm fairly confident you'll be in the same boat Problematic issues While a serial usually does include multiple open ended unresolved story line elements the conflicting details were confusing and sometimes irritating One mythical not spoiler example if someone is shot multiple times and not treated it's mystifying that the next scene doesn't address or resolve this as it does affect things To play it off as it never happened is just wrong I leave it to any potential reader to decide if they want to purchase and read this story I will say that for any Addison Cain fans this book has a similar writing style so if you love A Cain you'll than likely love this one too

3½ starsAnother Omegaverse story that I really enjoyed MC's are a work in progress and by this I mean that they are growing on me though in this case it's the H than the h that I like Why wasn't this a 4 or 5 star? Mainly because of its typos and grammar issues This book is sorely in need of a good editor to the point that it became bothersome to try and figure out what it was supposed to be written

35 stars This was pretty good; it reminded me a lot of another omegaverse book I read can't think of the titleauthor off the top of my head The book was super short though and I didn't have time to connect with Ianthe yet Legion is a mystery still so the verdict's out on him right now It did keep my interest though and was well written plus it's KU so win win On to book 2
